Tannenberg recreates the massive Eastern Front battles of World War I with 64 players battling for control of key sectors of the battlefield, each with corresponding strategic advantages. The conflicts between the Russian Empire, Germany and their allies offer a new experience to both users of first-person shooter games and fans of history.
There are six squads, more than 50 weapons, six massive maps that offer players tactical freedom, and a 64-player gameplay with AI support so you can experience epic battles at any time! Everything has been recreated with the same attention to detail as seen in Verdun, the first installment in the World War I video game saga.
This historic game is set on all the lakes, forests, mountains, and snowy plains on the eastern front. It is inspired by the Battle of Tannenberg of 1914, one of the most iconic siege battles in history. Players will be able to master a wide variety of realistic equipment belonging to the Russian Frontovik and Cossack platoons, the Romanians, or join the Powers
Centrals to fight in a platoon K.u.K. Austro-Hungarian, in the German infantry or with the Bulgarians.
Tannenberg offers several game modes, including the exciting Maneuver mode, reflecting the nature of the war on the Eastern Front, where 64 players will fight on huge maps whose objectives and battle lines are constantly changing. Survive deadly battles fighting alongside your four-man squad and using your unique skills.
The game contains a wealth of historical details: realistic WWI weaponry, authentic uniforms, gruesome violence, and maps based on authentic battlefields.
