Prologue

The black dragon [Guernian], who once stood against the gods, has fallen. From the rift it fled to before dying, an unholy energy has spread across the world, and life is undergoing a strange mutation. People call it the Corruption and live their days in fear, but few know its origin or its true extent.

Player = Successor

You are an immortal warrior—a “Successor”—chosen by the god of light [Lu], the god of fire [Ashuran], and the god of water [Harnia]. When you fall in battle, you return to the origin of your lineage and are resurrected, growing stronger through the experience, equipment, and rune power you gather along the way.

Upon arriving in Cliffshire, a city of light, Successors must head to a cemetery where demons are said to manifest and follow the clues to cleanse the distorted world.

Core Gameplay

The game plays as a 2D platformer that requires precise dodging and pattern recognition. Each area is a multi-layered structure interconnected both vertically and horizontally, regenerating in a roguelite style with different terrain, monster placements, and loot composition on every run.

When you die, you lose your gold and temporary upgrades, but your equipment and runes are permanently retained and become the foundation for your next cycle.

By defeating bosses, you obtain runestones that can be used to craft or awaken legendary gear. Additionally, artifacts found during exploration can grant powerful blessings or dangerous curses depending on their combinations, adding a new layer of tactical tension to every playthrough.

The Current Situation

Corrupted enemies are gradually expanding their territory, threatening neighboring regions. Amid this chaos, the Black Dawn leads the Corruption from the shadows, though its true purpose remains shrouded in mystery.

Tradition says that only by destroying the [Guernians] can the lost order be restored, but the deeper you venture into exploration, the more doubts arise about the truth of this belief.

The closer you get to the citadel, the more you will confront the great secret that has brought the world to its knees.
