In this new adventure, Simon, the most sarcastic wizard in the history of video games, returns to reveal secrets and stories from his past.

A new adventure begins!

Thirty years after his first on-screen appearance, Simon is drawn into an unknown world by an ancient prophecy that will reveal his origins. This world is inhabited by powerful, though mostly useless, wizards and strange creatures. On his journey, Simon will have to solve a series of tricky puzzles, handle alchemical devices and learn powerful spells - and yes, he'll also have to try some nasty stews!

Puzzles, magic and Simon's humor

Whether you're visiting the Magic World for the first time or returning again, Simon is back with his unmistakable sense of humor and a completely revamped graphical style. Simon the Sorcerer Origins recaptures the charm of the original saga with a completely hand-drawn art style, combining classic mechanics with a fresh, new magical world.

Your adventure, your puzzles

Solve tons of tricky puzzles, test your wits and face all kinds of absurd situations and quirky characters. Combine objects and clues to unravel the great mystery and become the legendary wizard you were always meant to be.

FEATURES

  • Official prequel to the cult saga: Find out what Simon did just before his first magical slip into the fantasy world. Long before he started insulting talking doors.
  • A story with heart, humor, and hat: Between mother's love, a forced move, and a good dose of mayhem, Simon's path to becoming a hero (in spite of himself) begins.
  • Hand-drawn graphic style and iconic voice: With new lovingly drawn graphics and Simon's original voice, performed by British voice actor Chris Barrie, it feels like a trip back to the 90s, but with better resolution.
  • Between spells and gears: Classic point-and-click adventure with modern mechanics. Solve wacky puzzles, activate ancient mechanisms and collect (as always) too many objects.
  • Sarcasm, slapstick and wacky wizards: Meet bizarre characters, even weirder dialogue, and enjoy Simon's unmistakable wit, between sass and that “very British” humor.
  • Alchemy, magic and other disasters: experiment with spells, alchemical devices and dubious recipes. With a little luck, you might even come up with what you wanted!
