Meridiem announces physical Edition of SOMBRAS: Negative Frames for PlayStation 5

After a successful playtest helped shape the experience, Meridiem is pleased to announce that it will publish the physical edition of SOMBRAS: Negative Frames for PlayStation 5 on December 3rd,2026. Developed by Maboroshi Artworks and digitally published by Entalto Publishing, Sombras: Negative Frames is a first-person nostalgic narrative game with a focus on photography and light horror elements. 

Meridiem is responsible for designing and manufacturing the physical SOMBRAS: Negative Frames – Special Frame Edition for PlayStation 5 and will include a reversible cover, downloadable digital content and an artbook. 

SOMBRAS: negative frames is the second game of Maboroshi Artworks, the creators of the award-winning game Last Time I Saw You. 

Follow Shiomi Alterio, a Japanese-Spanish photography student, as she is spirited away in a dark mirror of her 2000s Japanese town and must confront fragments of her own psyche. 

Shiomi lives with her father in a quaint Japanese town after her parents’ recent divorce, far from the life in Europe she was forced to leave behind. 

One night, Shiomi is engulfed by a dark dimension made of familiar streets, hungry shadows, and a cast of girls that look just like her... 

Help Shiomi return home by taking pictures of unusual sights, surviving unsettling encounters, and reuniting every single fragment of her broken self.
